Sunday, June 15, 2008 - At Beltramos tasting. I enjoyed tasting the 2004 very much so I expected a lot more from the 2005 and while it certainly is a very nice wine it did not blow me away. Well balanced with fine tannins and minimal heat. Nice color - medium garnet. An elegant wine with great black fruit and mineral characteristics. It was a pleasure to taste but I will wait quite some time before opening.
