Thursday, July 15, 2021 - Dark wine, with a slight brick edge. The nose is complex with its floral aromas followed by distinctive notes of black fruit, melted tar and graphite. The mouth beautifully achieves density and elegance at the same time, with flavors of primary black fruits and secondary spices and smoky flavors. The mouthfeel is silky and very refined, yet there is an enormous amount of sap behind. The tannins are refined but still very present. In the beginning of its drinking window. Finishes fresh and salty, with good length. This is the epitome of power and elegance and the wine will improve further with more cellaring. What a great vintage !
