Tuesday, February 27, 2024 - Pop and pour, notes from 24 hrs open. On the nose: brambly red and black fruit, a touch of cola and savory herbs and a touch of char; this has outgrown its bacon-fat so to speak. On the palate: fantastic acidity, lighter-in-style, soft cola and blackberry. Attenuated tannin on the finish. Lovely, sad this is my final btl as this finally has some real secondary character. This btl had plenty of gas in the tank if you have any left.
