Sunday, February 28, 2016 - Magnum - excellent aged wine - bottle and fill excellent, the cork had black fungus on top and was solid, extracted in one piece. Wine was decanted. Considerable bottle funk requiring at least 2 hours to clear, the wine became more vivid and beautiful with time. Earth, leaves, leather and spice, perfect with pastas - tomato based and Guanicale. Should keep (especially in large format), but not likely to get better
