Saturday, January 7, 2023 - Second bottle from OWC purchased on release, consumed one year after first bottle. Possibly biased by context of being served by itself where the first bottle was in a pack of 2008s. Bias aside, this poured more yellow-gold than the first bottle and certainly seemed much fresher throughout with more orchard fruit, floral, and citrus aromas and flavors than the more mature profile of the first bottle. I will chalk it up to bottle variation. Both bottles were fantastic, but this one was fantastic-er with plenty of structure and fruit to age on. Worth the wait and time to enjoy. Drink at leisure.
