Friday, December 15, 2023 - Burgundy For Lunch Bunch Holiday Event 2023 (Phoenix, AZ USA): Older than wine served before it (which turned out to be 2012 Salon), some oxidation and nuttiness. Still has ample fruit, and my best guess was 2000 vintage. In the end good if not great. I think I just don't "get" Salon, I'm never as thrilled with it as everyone else seems to be. The white Burgundy that followed was far more impressive to me than either vintage of Salon.
