Saturday, January 18, 2014 - Doesn't quite reach the crescendo of a previous bottle but this one flies high indeed.

From a restaurant's wine list and fairly priced at that. Right from the get go this was offering up so much. The nose was fairly shy all evening but it more than made up for it in the flavor department. There was lemon, hazelnut, and a distinct coconut icee flavor perfectly positioned in the mid-palate. After some air ( and a request for a white wine glass), this wine's tight steel core could be sensed. The last sips showed some caramel and toffee. This is a fabulous wine!
