Tuesday, June 10, 2014 - Belated celebrations: Very fine bead. Initially, a fairly muted nose of dried orange peel, lemon. Body feels weightless. Primarily very pure citrus fruit, yielding to some lemon rind, minerality, and finally a bit of brioche. Amazing acidity and elegance. It is decidedly on the opposite side of the spectrum from more powerful, oxidative, autolytic Champagnes, instead conveying absolutely pure fruit and minerality. Exceptional.
