Wednesday, May 23, 2018 - Brother Jeff's visit to DC - Mostly Bordeaux (The Grill Room at the Rosewood DC): This particular bottle shows a hint of oxidative note/oxidized apple peel. Fully mature nose displaying decadent yellow fruit, apple pie, honey, coriander, sweet spices and crushed rock. Excellent concentration, generous ripe yellow, fine mousse, bright acidity, medium mineral and a long sweet yellow fruit driven finish with coriander seed at the end. Very good but not great showing as it is not as precise and detailed as the best bottles.
