Monday, June 8, 2020 - It is not that often that I literally feel the urge to publish a tasting note, but this wine is just to die for. Easily one of the most beautiful wines I have ever tasted. My second bottle. The color alone is of a quality and beautiful golden yellow that displays nothing but "You are about to indulge a majestic wine". The bubbles are aristocratic, serious. The wine has a great depth, brilliance & quality & sophistication that make this instantly addictive. The after taste lasts over a minute and continuing. And although I am not necessarily a big Champagne addict, sometimes wines are just perfect. This is one them: if you want to understand what Champagne is at its very best, here it is. This is an experience, if not an event. And yes, the price is steep, very steep, but.... it is worth it. Now in the perfect drinking window, at its peak, albeit a long one no doubt. But I should add: don't make the mistake of drinking this without letting it breath (it deserves proper prep): Open the bottle several hours in advance, and easily up to 12 hours, with the cork back in, it is eternal joy! The second day it showed even more heavenly!
