Sunday, December 22, 2019 - Much like my last tasting of this, the wine needed a bit of time to add some weight after opening. Red cherry and cassis on the nose, light body with silky tannins on the front-palate finish. Towards the end of its drinking window, I’m glad I didn’t wait any longer to pop this; comes across more like a 15 year old claret than a merlot, which isn’t a bad thing.
