Thursday, September 22, 2016 - Deep red and clear in the glass with some violet hues. On the nose, the wine was open with olive, ash, cherry, and scrubby underbrush. Black cherry, leather, herbs, and violets on the palate. Nice, focused and tight structure. Medium length cherry floral finish with some puckering tannins. Quality Chianti and good value at <$20/750. 88-90.
