Saturday, January 14, 2017 - Solid sub-$20 Chianti Classico even if I wish for even better pass-through on the weak euro. Recent notes below describe it well. We did PnP through an aerating decanter and it worked well with the meal, though I'd be curious to try it with a little real decant. It's got a great balance of slightly tart sour cherry, dusty earth, slight farm funk, touch of dried herbs, medium acid, tannins in place, but not drying.
