Saturday, February 3, 2024 - Open and decanted before drinking - we only gave it 1 1/2 hours in the decanter - would recommend at least three hours. On the nose you are getting both cherries and cranberries - on the palette you are still getting the two mentioned fruits and hints of prunes - we are also getting menthol - we are also getting leather - tannins and acidity are both medium plus - acidity a bit more dominating - but a very well balanced wine with a good long aftertaste. This is our first bottle and we will give a solid 93 - with a clear expectation of more to come.
