Saturday, March 23, 2019 - Bright rose gold with moderately quickly dissipating mousse and fine bubbles (meaning it’s properly chilled ). Royal Anne cherries on the nose, confirmed on the medium full palate with toasted brioche. Bright, mouthwatering acidity reigns in the mouth, and the finish is long and bready. A Burgundian blanc de noirs that I’d put up against similar Champagnes any day, but without the Champagne price. Equally at home in a celebratory toast or accompanying an oceanic meal. I’m enjoying with grilled salmon. What will *you* choose?
