Thursday, March 26, 2020 - May have been a flawed bottle or perhaps degrading faster than expected. This was a rustic version of what we last encountered 2 years ago. Nose was still very good but the palate was unflattering. Very dry/oaked with nondescript fruit. 2 more bottles left.

More oak than fruit on the nose, but then really juicy with big fruit flavours dominating the palate. If anything I worry the acidity will outlast the fruit, but not for many years on last night’s showing.
