Wednesday, October 24, 2018 - Good purity. Nice lemon verbena and pear as one taster noted. I like it around $20, but not above

6/12/2019 1:26:00 PM - Hit there :) My note was not meant to suggest that this wine was purchased $20, but that's what I felt it was worth relative to other Chablis. Wine-searcher currently has this bottling for $30 and I would agree, most of the 1ere Chablis I see on shelves are $30-40, esp. for good producers. Frankly most of the village levels Chablis I see are now $17-25; it's just that this 2014 Vaillons did not perform much better in my opinion.
