Sunday, May 24, 2020 - Was feeling lucky so I rolled the dice on my last 2014 Chidaine chenin. Coravin pour - little darker than I'd like to see. Bit nervous, but the nose was lively and full of wooly citrus so I was feeling better. First taste and any premox fears that I had were immediately erased. Fresh, acid driven orchard fruits, wool, with a hint of bitter honey on a very long finish. Excellent wine! As my man Ice Cube would say, 'Today was a good day'
