Saturday, December 25, 2010 - From a 375. Dense crushed red cherry, tannic and tight for sure but quite beautiful. Quality and concentration is there and I didn't find it too modern, as there wasn't any heavy-handed oak treatment as far as I can tell ... may age to be a lovely elegant bordeaux.
Day 2 – The nose came alive today, with ripe red fruit and quite floral. Smooth yet powerful in an elegant way, what an excellent bordeaux ... I didn't find this too modern or 'parkerized' at all.
