Saturday, March 23, 2013 - Tasted blind. Bouquet of black cherry and fig with a hint of earthy mushrooms. Palate shows medium plus acidity with tight tannins and a long finish. Even though it is distinctly old world, it's still young and I didn't immediately place it as a Bordeaux.
