Monday, November 30, 2020 - Medium ruby. On the nose the wine has medium intensity aromas of red plum, red cherries, black pepper, black olives, salami, charred wood. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium plus ripe grippy tannins, high alcohol, medium plus body with a medium flavor intensity with flavors of red plum, red cherries, black pepper, black olives, salami, charred wood. The finish is medium. The wine is good demonstrating complexity with red fruits, spice, oak, and some savory notes. The alcohol , tannins and fruit nature are in balance. However, the wine lacks intensity on the palate and the finish was a disappointing medium . However a decent QPR.
