Friday, December 29, 2017 - Brought this to Tungluk Xihe to drink with my buddies from National Service days.

Tight upon opening and wine was given 30 minutes of decanting. After opening up, notes of dark cherries, strawberries and raspberries were evident on the nose and palate. Some minerals and mushrooms evolved after an hour in the glass. Wine was low to medium body; a good complement to the Peking Duck which we had.

Gamay is a good alternative or substitute to Pinot Noirs when pairing with soft red meats or Asian food.
