Sunday, October 20, 2019 - The 2014 Bachelet Monnot Batard Montrachet offers a lovely modern style of winemaking, slightly reductive, early harvest to retain its brightness and acidity, interestingly slightly green with a hint of petrol (which I thought could be 2013). Tasted blind – Modern style of winemaking. Bright citrus, crunchy orchard fruits with airy minerals. Meursault? creamy palate and silky texture. Gained more weight with aeration, very well made. Meursault 1er Cru from a good producer? 2013? (91/100)
