94 Points

Monday, December 24, 2018 - Popped and poured thru a powered aerator. Color is deep opaque eggplant purple with floating sedimentation. Sweet nose of chrysanthemums, oak, blackberries, anise and bourbon soaked honey covered puff pastry. Taste is similar with some ash and cigar on the mid palate and bourbon on the finish. Ultra smooth mouthfeel. Medium to low well integrated tannins and acidity. Full bodied. I’m becoming a really big fan of Alban wines. About 94 points.
