Thursday, March 12, 2015 - Deep crimson-red. Beautiful nose, initially reticent, but opened in the decanter over an hour to reveal blackcurrant, bilberry, cherry and write flowers. Touches of dark chocolate and liquorice. Palate intense and soft simultaneously with great mouthfeel and length. Very fine balance - this is a great 2005 very much in the classic Margaux mold.
