Sunday, March 5, 2017 - Clear, Darkest mauve with pink rim, slow-moving and sporadic thick tears.
Clean, med+ intensity, with aromas of buckets of black berries, stewed plums and damsels, slight floral, pomegranate, tobacco, and tomato leaves.
Dry, med body, med+ tannins, med alcohol, light acidity, with further tastes of mulberry, cassis, pu'er leaves, sweetened dark gravy, dark chocolate. Fabulous complexity but surprisingly still young. It opened up slowly but steadily. I have one other bottle in my home cellar and will look to open it in another 3+ years. Great finish.
