Sunday, December 30, 2018 - Consumed over 2 days. Black and inky color. Primary nose of blackberry and spice maybe slightly medicinal. The palate is hard and impenetrable, showing lots of extraction and grape tannin. I was hoping after 13-14 years that this might be more open, but it is really dense and structured. Not pleasurable today.
