Saturday, August 27, 2016 - Heavy autolysis on the nose. Yeast/dough, some toast. Candylike fruit with pear, lemon and elderberry dominant. On the palate lots of mousse (a bit too much) and high acidity. The fruit is not entirely without merit, but lacks depth and persistance. Finishes fairly short.

Not bad, but neither very good. An average champagne.
