Monday, April 8, 2024 - Again, this wine is currently drinking very well. Olives. Mushrooms. Truffles. Maybe some mustard. Cigar wrapper. Coffee. Balanced. Sophisticated. Elegant. There is special and unique beauty in the style. An old school Pauillac for sure. Easy to drink, and easy alcohol too despite the 13% level. I have been holding the purchase since release, procured via futures. Some bottles remain, and I will be pushing for 20 to 30 years. Unfortunately I lost the cork again, only to be saved by The Durand.
