Sunday, August 25, 2019 - Purple in color. 14.8% ABV. Sensational nose of black and blue fruits, cassis liqueur, molten licorice and scorched earth. Immense and concentrated. Great mouthfeel and texture with loads of rich, plush fruit. Blueberries, black cherries, plums and currants on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish with ever so silky tannins. Stunning Dalla Valle that is absolutely impeccable at 15 years of age. Sometimes I wonder if we collectively under estimate how well Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon can cellar? This should cruise to 25 years of age.

2/20/2023 1:51:00 PM - So now I have a question that you may be a le to help with as it seems lime you have a but of Dalla Valle from diff vintages…I just bought 3 of the 04s from a private cellar sale and I just noticed that the ‘2004’ on the label is brick red on two of them but light blue on the third. Other than that there are no diff in the labels. Are thoughts?
