Thursday, October 12, 2023 - Big, rich, and powerful, but very balanced, with earthy notes of black cherries, minty herbs, oak, and bottle age complexity. It's unsurprisingly youthful, yet approachable, especially with air. The flavors turn juicy and succulent after 1+ hour in the decanter, with Tootsie Roll intensity on the long, sapid finish. Impressive finesse for such a massive wine.
