Friday, March 29, 2024 - Light golden color. Floral, buttery bouquet, tropical fruits. Fat, oily texture, but surprisingly airy and elegant palate with a display of honeyed fruits, butter, pear, peach. Next to the 2014 Coteau de Vernon this appears young and vibrant with many years left. There’s pepper and curry notes. Grand vin and one of the best wine buys, still, for my money.
