Thursday, April 18, 2024 - Tasted over 3 hrs, edition 4 (of 6) of 2014 Bertheau horizontal
-med dark red minimal clearing
-some Burg funk red fruit barrel spice
-med/med+ acidity, med weight sappy focused intensity sweet dark red fruit with a hint of maturity peeking in and some barrel spice with a slightly distracting faint medicinal note on the finish with the med/med- tannins
-compared to the multi-site 1er cru, a step up in sappy power without weight, on its mature plateau
