Friday, January 8, 2010 - I opened and let it stand in the the decanter for about 1 1/2 hrs. By the time of dinner it was wonderful. Violet color. The nose was very enticing, dark berries, cedar, sage, vanilla and plum. In the palate it was medium in body, silky tannins, and the aras were confirmed by the flavors, however it was a bit more complew than that. A touch of dark chocolate, coffee and a faint mineral note. It us was very good, I recommend this winnery to anyone.
