Saturday, June 3, 2023 - A bit of a surprise as the auction house noted this unmarked label as a '75, but it was clearly a '78 after pulling the cork. This was a fantastic mature Bordeaux. Showed tobacco leaf cedar and eucalyptus notes. Compared to the '82 on the same night this had more depth, with a cedar spice and mint character noted through the palate and finish. While not as plump on the mid palate, had more complexity. Wine of the night for me.
