Sunday, June 4, 2023 - Rustic, with fading fruit but still very much alive. It has that underripe green stem note. That is the calling card of 1978 to my palate. Firm acidity but a cool old wine. Like your 60 year old wiry uncle who isn’t in great shape but you know will be hanging around for a bit longer.
