Monday, June 9, 2008 - ripe notes of cherry, iron, fresh cut meats, hints of pepper, spices. Touch hot on the back end of the nose. The palate is modern and composed of meats, red currants, iodine and slight sour cherry. Medium concentration, medium natural acid, medium soft globular tannin. Very gamey finish loaded with iron and cherries but is just a bit too short. Needs more acid for lift as well as layering to be better. id rather have a nice crozes than this for 20 bucks.
