Monday, July 3, 2006 - see tasting note of 12/14/2005 for more details. this bottle was in better condition. full fill. minimal liquid penetration of an intact cork. no back pressure. nose jumps from the bottle. good color. the wine was a bit restrained for about 1/2 an hour. then opened with a flourish of fruit. the wine is fully integrated with great finesse. not a powerhouse but great majesty. will save the last bottle for the chill winds in the fall. don't think this will last a great deal longer. this bottle was imported by wildman and shipped by borie-manoux. (names associated with other great wine properties.
