Sunday, March 10, 2024 - My third bottle of 7 bought from an impeccable source, this has delivered everytime. My favourite right bank estate, this vintage embodies the unique Merlot/Cabernet Franc profile of the wine. The nose is tertiary with beef blood and old leather aromas, with tell tale green bell pepper notes on the palate. With this bottle there was still some residual tannin on the finish that still needs to resolve, and prevented the extra half point. However, the finish is perfectly balanced and seamless.
