Friday, January 10, 2020 - Wow. A brooding dark blackish red with slightly transparent edges. Incredible complexity. Aromatics jump from the glass more and more with air - tar, black cherry, pine needles, licorice, perhaps a tea tree like medicinal note. Oh and loads of smokey tobacco. This is big and fat in the mouth with seriously masculine tannins that demand attention. Cocoa nibs, black cherry, old wood, cedar. Deliciously complex. This is probably just hitting it's stride, as it comes off a bit young yet. I wish I had many more bottles. Excellent expression of Aglianico.
