Saturday, February 27, 2016 - Rare Wine Dinners: Bordeaux 1921-1975 (Bentley Restaurant, private dining room): Negotiant bottling. Perfume here reminds of roses and sweet black berry fruit. Palate is wonderfully lush - sweet notes, resolved tannins, elegance with intensity. Tea-like fragrances and tannins on the finish. Over the next 10-20 minutes it evolved in the glass. Showed some complexities like bacon fat, truffle, leather and capsicum. Fantastic experience.
