Saturday, November 26, 2022 - Opened 4 hours in advance of our dinner at the club. The nose was fruit with a hint of chocolate. The palate was blackberry, blueberry, cassis, wood and hints of chocolate leading to a long finish. We drank against a 2014 Pahlmeyer and my guests were equally divided as to which was the better wine. It was the first time I have ever tried a Kata wine and I was impressed. My personal favorite of the evening.
