Wednesday, September 27, 2006 - A rich and fruit-forward rose. This is pale strawberry in color, with ample berries in the aromas and palate. Soft and lush without being sweet, but it gives an impression of sweetness that makes it an ideal late summer wine. We had with a salmon pasta dish and it was perfect. Not sure I would drink it without food, though, since the sweet impression was kept in balance with the food.
