Red fruit, moist earth, and menthol dominated the aromatics, and the red fruit and earth powered through the palate, with the menthol echoing again on the finish. I spent about 3 hours with the wine and it remained consistent (it remained consistent...it remained consistent) throughout. Left about 1/3 of the bottle corked up overnight. Delicious.
