Monday, January 23, 2023 - Translucent ruby with a slight orange rim. Wet leaves, raspberry, and cherry notes on the nose. Lightly perfumed. Deep and full-bodied, a little sappy on the palate. Very soil-driven, with just a small amount of dried red fruit on the palate, with fresh acidity and fine tannins. A nice, earthy wine, this has the structure to go for several more years but I only worry it will outlast what fruit there is left.
