Sunday, April 14, 2024 - Paid $23 recently in a Benchmark sale and figured worst case it would be cooking wine. Quite the opposite and what a great QPR. Super well integrated and smooth cab from a great Napa year. Dark fruit, some sweetness and smoke and tar, and a medium+ finish. Opened up nicely over 90 minutes and went great with steak. Not a huge wine but everything perfectly in its place and exactly you want in a 25 year old cab.
