Tuesday, July 4, 2017 - To the nose, blackberry and black cherry with sight plum. Oak and vegetal/moss with slight herb (sage & thyme). On the palate, dark fruit continue over red fruit. Oak and leather with slight vanilla are present; no cola or chocolate in the mix. Slight forest floor noted. Medium mouthfeel and length for a red blend. Tannins in strings. May benefit from another year in bottle.
