However, with food ( lamb shanks) this wine snapped into balance providing cut to the richness of the meat. Fruit and secondary nuances sang and I was unhappy to see how quickly this bottle got finished. I would happily drink another bottle with a similarly rich meat dish. Not really sure how to offer a rating of overall quality
