Sunday, December 8, 2019 - The 2014 Voge Cornas certainly has plenty of swagger in its dense, ripe black cherry liqueur and kirsch nose, accented by subtle cracked black pepper, smoke, violets, and garrigue. The richly fruited palate is almost dominated by its black pepper character but it’s all the more exciting for it. A resonating pepper and violet finish bodes well for the future.
