Monday, March 4, 2019 - Just from the smell you can tell it is a Sauvignon Blanc right away. Tons of passion fruit, grape fruit zest, and hint of grass. The flavor is very explosive and ethereal. I enjoyed this wine very much but i was a bit disappointed mostly because I wanted more acid to counter balance the richness of the fruit. For a sauvignon blanc made in Alto Adige I'm surprised it didn't have searing acidity. It could just be possible that the acid level was lower than usual due to the fact that 2015 was a pretty warm vintage.
